Love
Where are you?
The depths of this place so dark
My melody plays
Strum, Strum, Strum
Mesmerising the dead shadows
Silence stares
Cold damp drips its milky chemical
Spreading round depositing its loneliness
My tread firm and sure
Heart full of anguish, hope and now fear
Almost dead as dead
Face darkness dreams
Odd sounds ring and moan
Strum Strum Strum
I play louder sweeter to drown in
To soften any ear
Calming the way
As I call her name my love
Those soft happy eyes
The light that shines in them
Let me fall upon them once more
And hold your gentle hands in mine near me again
The stream bubbles of laughter poking fun
As in once joyous times but corrupted
I see you clearly in my mind
Almost touching you
But so far away
Strum strum strum
Love
Where are you?
