Eden shopping mall
Fake tree and steel flowers
Painted durex coloured doors
Plastic seats placed all around
Concrete floors all tiled and pale brown
A mall type smell of cool
Air conditioning (pumping) pimping away
Antiseptic almost
The global conglomerates
Laying out there brands
Of something I forget whatever they're called
In the central Isle
They sell all the things you never wanted
A cookie stall
Win a car
Onsite restaurant & cafés
All tasteless and poor
A bookshop selling old stock
Cash till clattering accepting the credit
The place you never want to leave
Fake lighting
False smiles
All surfaces packaged
Contents hidden behind closed doors
One large sales pitch
For those who walk through its doors
Drum roll please
Paradise waiting arms open wide
To grab you and eat you
Your globalised
Part of the crowd
Herded like cattle
Eden is where you are
And Eden is where you is
Under new management
And they don't give a monkey's
As long as you carry old Mr Green
